Serena
Hi! I’m Tae-E Kim, and you can also call me Serena. I’m currently studying 3D Animation & VFX at the School of Visual Arts and expect to graduate in 2028.
I’m interested in visual storytelling and creating work that reflects my own style. I care about making projects that feel personal and visually clear, and I try to bring a sense of individuality into each one.
I tend to focus a lot on small details, because I believe those details are what make a project feel unique.
I work with 3D, 2D animation, illustration, and motion graphics, and I enjoy exploring different ways to develop ideas across these mediums. I’m also interested in storyboarding and building narratives through images and design.
I’ve always thought of animation as a combination of many different forms of art, and that’s one of the things I find most interesting about it. I hope to become a small part of that larger creative process.
